My story

No two lives are the same, so no two ceremonies should be the same.

Since training with the Academy of Professional Celebrants in 2024, I’ve had the privilege of supporting over 200 families across Scotland as they said their final farewells to the people they loved.

For me, being a celebrant is about much more than words. It’s about getting to know the person behind the story and creating a ceremony that truly reflects who they were, the life they lived and the people they loved.

Every ceremony I create is personal, bespoke and filled with the little details that make a person unique. My aim is always to celebrate a life with warmth, honesty and heart—creating a farewell that feels truly theirs.

What guides my work

Warmth, honesty and heart.

01

Time to listen

Our conversations set the pace. You can share memories in the way that feels most natural, without pressure or expectation.

02

A ceremony with meaning

Every reading, tribute and piece of music is chosen to create a sincere picture of the life at its heart.

03

Calm, practical support

I offer clear guidance throughout, so you can focus on being with your family and those who matter.

A considered service

Personal, professional and thoughtfully prepared.

I work closely with families and funeral directors across Edinburgh and the Lothians, bringing care to each stage—from the first call through to leading the ceremony on the day.

A gentle first step

A conversation can begin with a memory.

If you are arranging a funeral, I am here to hear about the person you love and explain how I can help.
